Discography
After appearing on various compilation albums, Plan B released his first 7″ singles in 2005 “Kidz”/”Dead and Buried” and “Sick 2 Def”/”No Good”. His début album Who Needs Actions When You Got Words (2006) was a critical success and reached #30 in the UK Albums Chart, it was certified Silver by the BPI on June 26, 2006. One single from the album, “Mama (Loves a Crackhead)”, charted on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 41. In 2008, Plan B featured on the Chase & Status song “Pieces” which topped the UK Dance Chart and reached number 70 on the singles chart. The following year, Plan B achieved his first Top 10 hit from another Chase & Status collaboration, “End Credits” which peaked at number 9.
Plan B has also contributed songs to the soundtracks of British films such as Adulthood (2008) and Shifty (2009). Plan B’s second album The Defamation of Strickland Banks entered the UK Albums Chart at number 1. The lead single from the album “Stay Too Long” was released January 2010 and charted at number 9. The second single from the album “She Said” was released on the 28th March 2010 and charted at number 3, marking his most successful single to date. The third single from the album “Prayin’” was released on 12th July 2010 and charted at number 16.
