EMI Music Publishing has teamed up with Plan B to launch a joint venture called Temperamental Music. The deal with the 679/Atlantic Records signing, whose real name is Ben Drew, will see him overseeing the signing and development of songwriters to the new company, while EMI will look after areas such as sync, licensing and administration globally. Plan B has announced full details of his new film and album ‘iLL Manors’. The film, which stars Riz Ahmed, Nathalie Press and Dannielle Brent, will be released on May 4 and is set in Forest Gate in London. The film runs over the course of a few days, with six inter-linking short stories, represented by a different rap song, coming together at the end.
