Maverick Sabre talks about Plan B
Maverick Sabre, real name Michael Stafford, was just 15 years old when he began MC-ing himself. The Irish hip-hop scene was small but it gave him great opportunities. “When American acts came over to Dublin I was supporting them,” he recalls. “It was a great upbringing.” When he was 16 Stafford formed a friendship with the rapper Plan B – aka Ben Drew. “I met him at a show; I supported him in Dublin.
